kahlenberg
Hi, I have a BananaPi Pro with A20 cpu. I try to install Motion and Motioneye but it fails. I found some tutorials but nothing worked for me. Is there any proper tutorial about how to install it? Thanks.
guidol
Did you also try MotionEyeOS? https://github.com/ccrisan/motioneyeos/wiki/Installationhttps://github.com/ccrisan/motioneyeos/wiki/Wifi-Preconfiguration Supported Devices Banana PI M1 board home page latest version: 20180627 kernel: 4.4 (vanilla) and the images for the Banana Pi (M1): https://github.com/ccrisan/motioneyeos/releases/download/nightly-dev/motioneyeos-bananapim1-dev20181008.img.xz or https://github.com/ccrisan/motioneyeos/releases/download/20180627/motioneyeos-bananapi-20180627.img.xz

kahlenberg
Unfortunately it didn't work. I downloaded the image for bananapim1 and wrote it on sdcard. When I power up the board, kernel doesn't start. It just hangs "Starting kernel...". I have BananaPi Pro, not Banana Pi. My board doesn't have any yellow s-video output connector unlike Banana Pi (normal). I also tried image for bananapi (not m1), no success.
guidol
The normal BPi and the Pro hasnt much difference (only connectors and amount of Ram) Did you try to write the image via etcher using the verify option? Did you try another sdcard or powersupply (do you boot with the camera connected to usb?)
