Massimiliano Neri Posted December 3, 2018 Share Posted December 3, 2018 Hello. I created a HotSpot with my Orange Pi Zero H2 with the latest version of Armbian Bionic. Everything seems to work, but I need the access point to reserve dynamic IPs, ie for a device with MAC address XX.XX.XX.XX.XX I have to reserve and then assign a specific IP address XXX.XXX. XXX.XXX. Any idea how to configure this HotSpot? Do I have to add some commands to the hostapd.conf file or what? Thanks in advance for any help. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Igor Posted December 3, 2018 Share Posted December 3, 2018 IP for clients are dynamic by default. It's a job from dnsmasq (/etc/dnsmasq).
