  1. I looked into it a while back mostly linaro cares about those who pay member fees I looked daunting to deploy but yeah someone should take another look.

@markyjackson5 Sorry I made a mistake on the discord server. Please try connecting again.
  3. Yep. the autotests can be configured to run against a freshly imaged SBC and do a lot of the work! we're always looking for new ideas and better ways to test and identify regression as well.
  4. @Igor anymore thoughts about group mention plugin for forum?
  5. @TonyMac32 @rpardini any additional context to add about our N2 woes?
  6. For 1. We're continuely with odroid uboot and cant get to mainline uboot on it unlike other amlogic boards we have. Lots of wonkiness and inconsistencies for that. And yeah the keys for video in boot.ini don't apply to mainline 2. Could easily be a regression.
  7. Archive optional root@armbian:/home/armbian/repo# du -sh ./* 103G ./apt 3.4T ./archive 4.0K ./armbian-logo.png 446G ./dl
  8. Hey Roy Another community member wanting to learn more about device tree might bite. One of the points Igor and Balbes were trying to make is that cheap TVBoxes are notorious for having inconsistent hardware within the same model. 2 physically identical ones can have grossly different internals. Common variables, storage chips (emmc or nvram). Network chips. Pathing could be totally different there for needing to tune delays and other things I don't understand. TVBox vendors have no incentive to communicate differences or to even aspire for consistency across production runs. You'll notice that with chip shortages that s lot of SBC vendors had to introduce new models because of changes they had to make. Ex: Orange Pi 3 LTS A $500 dtb investment and Buying 500 TVboxes vs 500 SBCs from a trusted vendor will likely yield a failed project rather than a project with fantastic cost savings.
  9. Many. I think the feature was suggested by someone in China. Honestly the first time we've received negative feedback on it. I know we do webseeds, but I've never dug into it. Is it illegal to connect to torrent trackers in Australia?
  10. Thanks for the suggestion. Fast.ly is an awesome platform Yeah we actually were using them via fosshost mirroring prior. Ironically it didn't work well for our image use case but was okay for apt repos. Took some tuning, and still had some weaknesses with the upstream fosshost mirrors they were caching. Anyway for our use case our mirror network is in great shape now and gives us better control....
  11. @Igor etc.... Should we hold off on Feb release?
  12. hey thats nice stuff... are you interesting in putting some of that info in our main docs https://github.com/armbian/documentation ?
  13. I know you're coming from a good place, but your comment borders on insulting. Please search forum for our testing threads and let us know how you'd like to help. We need help coordinating volunteers and testing as well Really it's automating the imaging and rebooting we need to complete first. Perhaps a WOL could be added https://github.com/armbian/autotests
  14. St Pete was syncing from a secondary source. Im not sure what happened but we were in the process of converting it to our primary source so must have been something amiss. It looks okay looking at the file dates now. Still having issues?
  15. are you using rsync or a web spider? apt.armbian.com is a redirect service.
  16. I've pulled armbian.de mirror out of rotation for now... can you try another mirror? http://apt.armbian.com/mirrors
  17. It does it's best via geoip but data can be old. setting a mirror via armbian-config is an option
  18. Need to integrate https://github.com/armbian/mirror With https://github.com/armbian/dl-router Rsync.armbian.com Or mirrors.dotsrc.org Dotsrc is fast
