I believe it will be possible only if some acute wizard manages to take the source code and update and fix it. there are some sources of the drivers of these wifi chips on github, here is same example:

https://github.com/khadas/android_hardware_wifi_icomm_drivers_ssv6xxx

Ok, images on the first page are updated and working, they're safe to use and install in flash.
Images from download page are still broken, server will decide when they will be refreshed

Hello guys, good news!

RK322x now is mainlined into armbian! This is the download page: https://www.armbian.com/rk322x-tv-box/
From now on your board will get all the benefits of being part of Armbian ecosystem, including kernel updates!

Support and developing images will still be provided in this forum thread as usual, so for the thread followers nothing will change

edit: I'm in the middle of testing the images and it seems there's something wrong with the bootloader, so don't download them yet!

That is helpful, thank you. But it would still be better if there was a simple headers .deb available in the usual debian/armbian way.

@balbes150
Hi balbes150, I'm using this image on my Tanix X3 Max s905w and it's excellent, thank you.

In future versions could you include a kernel headers .deb package? It would help a lot and is much preferable than the end user needing to set up a cross compile environment and repeat the work you already did. Thanks again.

Currently you can keep up-to-date the distribution packages via regular apt-get update && apt-get upgrade but not the kernel, u-boot and loader.
When I will merge the fork into mainline armbian (which will happen very soon), you will get also kernel and loaders updates!

What would "think" need UART logs and content (uEnv.ini) .

Burned the bionic verison to usbdrive. The extlinux.conf way didn't boot but the good old dtb.img way worked. I'm using the boxes as cheap X terminals and so far they're working great. At under $100 per seat, what's not to like, keeps getting better and better with each new image.

BTW love the videos that come with the images :-)

Don't know if it will work but perhaps you can get the Odroid C2 image to run on your tv-box: https://forum.odroid.com/viewtopic.php?f=138&t=19403

I'm no guru at this but as far as I know the VPU does only video processing and the rendering is either done i SW or in the GPU if supported. I don't know about Balbes images but I remember him mentioning that the no-mali images have support for quadcore in Kodi.

Since I'm not familiar with the system I don't really know what to look for, but I connected a wired network, started some games and applications which all started fine. When I clicked shutdown I could see it stopping eth0 so appares that wired network works. Shutdown was completet.

Maybe you should explain why you want to reimage and what you want to do with the new image?
