Hi!

Does anyone have experience comparing ZFS performance on

different operating systems on the same hardware.

It is very interesting to compare the performance on FreeBSD and Linux.

For a practical example there would be a need to put FreeBSD on your Helios64 which I am not aware of that it is possible (yet). I know from other RK3399 boards that they can run FreeBSD with a few issues though.

Cool.

Is there some kind a supported table to know which features of the RK3399 work and which not? you know the causal stuff like HDMI output, USB-C, cpufreqd  and so on...

Curious about putting it on a NanoPi R4S (RK3399, 4G LPDDR4, dual GBe, headless)

No table!
Since there is no official support for many RK3399 SBCs yet.

But enthusiasts manage to install FreeBSD on many SBCs.
For example ganbold@freebsd.org installed on NanoPI R4S
not only FreeBSD but OPNsenseTwitter

I learned to do it for Rock Pi-E.  Twitter
