Hi,

trying to start my Banana Pi Pro Board with the latest Armbian buster image (Armbian_21.02.1_Bananapipro_buster_current_5.10.12.img.xz) without success.

There is initial output on the screen until there is the message "Starting kernel ...", the after a few seconds the monitor loses its signal and nothing seems to happen any more
see: https://c.1und1.de/@520257322610590089/1IBkHiwHQX6jYxLPdlkTZQ

Reading through the forum I guessed it could have to do with an issue of automatic discovery of the correct DTB, so I edited the armbianEnv.txt file and added the following line to it:

fdtfile=sun7i-a20-bananapro.dtb

But still the same behavior.

I then tested another image from the archive (Armbian_20.08.1_Bananapipro_bionic_current_5.8.5.img.xz). The board comes up fine.

SD Card ist brand new SanDisk 32GB Class 10 A1

What should I be looking at next ?

Thx. in advance

Your issue report is invalid for one or multiple reasons (non-exhaustive enumeration):

  • it has been stated at the wrong place
  • it lacks fundamental requested data
  • it could have been easily solved by a quick search and/or reading documentation

Since you refused to use the bug reporting form carefully and follow the information there as you have been asked for we have no intention to further investigate.
