Armbian with 5.x kernel for Rock Pi 3A

All armbian images with 5.x kernel are not working for me. I found working variant of 5.x kernel here - https://github.com/qxhome/rk3568-kernel5.10-alldrivers but it have problems with firewall and docker

Does anybody have other variants?

What do you mean "not working"? Kernel 5.10 from qxhome is a rockchip legacy kernel for rk3588 and qxhome modified it to support rk3568. It's not a rockchip official supported branch for rk356x.

Armbian_22.05.1_Rock-3a_jammy_edge_5.18.0_xfce_desktop.img.xz

 

"Not working" means that there are no signal from HDMI.

I also don't have an HDMI image and no ethernet connection. On the official website of the image of Debian - works

I did't try the images from the official, but it should works.

Alexey, did you manage to receive video signal via HDMI on armbian images? I have the same problem.

Could you share the dmesg? My img are working, both cli and desktop versions. Have you tried to reflash the img? If possible, share the systemctl status of you desktop manager

Tried:

Armbian_22.05.3_Rock-3a_jammy_edge_5.18.0_cinnamon_desktop.img

and

Armbian_22.08.0-trunk_Rock-3a_jammy_edge_5.18.11_gnome_desktop.img

 

Both start but do not see or recognize the SPI NOR memory. From  dmesg:

Same issue, all images with 5.18 kernel doesn't output video to my 1366x768 TV. Only image with 4.19 kernel works, but when I try to enable desktop via armbian-config it downloads gnome and after long hours of install the system isn't usable at all.
