Olinuxino Lime 2 Without emmc or Nand Flash

Hi Guys,

I wanted a debian stretch based OS, and I followed Olimex consideration on Armbian.

The I visited the Page of Lime2( not nand or emmc):

https://www.armbian.com/olimex-lime-2/

The stretch Image that is there...is configured to boot from emmc :(

I want a debian stretch based version.

I checked sha256 checksums OK.

Serial Debug Output:

U-Boot SPL 2017.11-armbian (Jan 25 2018 - 01:01:01)
DRAM: 1024 MiB
CPU: 912000000Hz, AXI/AHB/APB: 3/2/2
Trying to boot from MMC1
mmc_init: -110, time 37
spl: mmc init failed with error: -110
SPL: failed to boot from all boot devices
### ERROR ### Please RESET the board ###

How can I solve this situation?

can I write a new uboot version? how to do it on Armbian_5.38_Lime2_Debian_stretch_next_4.14.14.img image?

thanks in advance.

Best Regards

tux

This must be something else. I own Lime2 without eMMC and it used to work with such configuration. Board has NAND but that should be irrelevant. Since I am out of office, I can't assist very well.

Can you try booting this image: https://dl.armbian.com/lime2/Ubuntu_bionic_next_nightly.7z (we only create one test image which is Ubuntu. To hunt many possible userspace bugs at the same time)

Manual u-boot compile and install: http://linux-sunxi.org/Mainline_U-Boot (you still might need to add "some" patches)
