Thomas Rudloff Posted May 11, 2020 Posted May 11, 2020 Hi, I want to do a NAS RAID(4,1) with the M4 with SATA hat. This thing is f... damned fast with SAMBA. I meassured 60MB/s with a 1.5TB 2.5" drive I had just laying around. OK, I forgot to mention that I installed Armbian. It's been three years since my last attempt to build a useful PC with AARCH64 and many things happened meanwhile. Looks like the time has come finally. (To say good bye to x86 and Windows.) Can someone point me to a direction before I gonna buy four SSDs?
Werner Posted May 12, 2020 Posted May 12, 2020 I know @NicoD is using a M4V2 as desktop replacement and is quite happy with it. I am still thinkin about grabbing one for myself as well. No Sata hat though but NVMe.
