Orangepi Plus 2E Eth0 speed gigabit

Hi to all,

my eth0 is configured to work 100Mb/s by default

 

Linux orangepiplus2e 3.4.113-sun8i #18 SMP PREEMPT Thu Jun 15 02:16:06 CEST 2017 armv7l GNU/Linux

 ethtool eth0 | grep Speed
        Speed: 100Mb/s

 

but support gigabit connection:

 

ethtool eth0

Can I setting via terminal eth0 to work permanently in gigabit mode? (router port is setting in gigabit)

Weirdo problems requires weirdo tactics :) Cables and switches (and other dump devices) can act strange sometimes. I am not that deep familiar, but changing them for others might help. Of course those cables and switches can work perfectly fine (gigabit) with other hardware.

The strange thing is that the router detects 1000mb during the orangi boot. When the boot is complete (ssh ready) it detects 100mb. I consider it an armbian configuration problem. It is probably the auto negotiation on in network setting?

Thanks for the test, I can not understand why it does not work.
Can you tell me which configurable file I can force the autononeg OFF and 1000mb?

Searching the Internet might be a compatibility issue with the router and the network driver and it is advisable to set the speed by config file but I do not know which file to edit
