    The logs don't need. I need time to assemble a new version of the image.

    Try this option dtb - "q912_otg.dtb"

    Sorry, my previous post was addressed to another user.
    If You have the original dtb file from the firmware You can try to use it in Armbian. Copy it to the root of the FAT partition with the name "dtb.img".

    If you are connecting media Armbian TV box does not run more than 10-15 minutes. 1. Good news. This means that multiboot You have activated. 2. Bad news. Dtb data from the internal memory are not suitable for this kernel. Need to pick or make your dtb file.

    Have you checked both the dtb file (source and converted) ?
    Images kernel  "S905 _ 3.14.79" you can no longer check for S912\S905X . They can only work at S905.

    A little test of the effectiveness of active cooling and the potential use as a media center with KODI. Install network of rap KODI (15.2). Prescribed in the file .xinitrc to run KODI (straight run only KODI, without DM). Started the system from USB stick on i7Pro (PCB without housing, standard radiator + USB fan with separate power supply). Mode 720. Playback test clips (from the image Armbian) occurs in fullscreen mode. The smoothness of the video is not the best, but I was interested in temperature. Connection via UART console , run "armbian -m". Monitoring shows the average temperature when playing video 49-55 Degrees, a frequency of about 2000. The temperature in the idle drops to 35-38 degrees (at a frequency of 250). Thus it is possible to consider this option - a very early alpha for Libreelec on the basis of the usual  Ubuntu, with advantages in a standard package management system and the ability to run as required graphical desktop (XFCE MATE DM etc) with all the advantages of standard office systems. I think if we solve the problem of not properly start the graphical environment for the authorization of entrance and selection of used DM (xdm lightdm lxdm etc), then you can create an easy to use universal system. If you need media center - chose KODI (or other similar systems), you need the desktop version - chose a convenient DM (XFCE MATE KDE, LXQT LXDM etc).

    Changes.

    1. Added a lot of kernel modules for peripheral devices (DVB DTV Net Touchscreen etc)
    2. Added script dd_backup_x to create a compressed copy of the internal memory (by xXx details about the script on the forum armbian in the subject s905\s905x)
    3. Added a script to evaluate the performance of the CPU aml_cpu.sh in the /root directory
    4. In the image MATE added a number of packages (screensaver, screenshot, multimedia, utility etc)

    1. Yes, You can use this git to build (it is in the public domain).
    2. No, this is not the official version. The process of inclusion in the official GIT requires considerable time.

    In the next few days I'll try to run this test (now I have disabled s912 to upgrade the cooling system).

    The difference in temperature decrease is noticeable only with a good cooling system. The problem with all TV boxes - very bad cooling system when shipped from the factory. Closed plastic case, very small heatsink, bad thermal pad / tape. All of this gives a very large thermal inertia (heat dissipation processor has long since reduced, but the overall temperature is reduced very slowly, the heat no where to go). I ran some tests.
    1. Staffing the state TV of the box (no changes in the hull and the cooling system).
    2. Without housing, but the cooling system is normal (did not change the heatsink and thermal pads).
    3. Without housing, replace the thermal pads on kachestvenno thermal grease.
    4. Without housing, high-quality thermal grease, replacement of standard radiator is increased.
    5. Without housing, thermal grease, increased radiator + fan.
    And now can definitely say the potential of all platforms (S905 S905X S912), is severely limited by the poor heat dissipation system. 5 are very well visible link to reduce the frequency and temperature decrease from maximum load to minimum. The difference is 10-20 Degrees for a long period of time. The worse the heat dissipation , the less noticeable the difference between the minimum and maximum temperature.

    Test new image 20170202 CPU_OVERCKLOCK scaling work good out of box, but i don't see any performance(and temperature, of course we know it few months from  odroid forum) difference between cpufreq_max = 2GHz, 1.75 and 1.53.
    Some sysbench tests...

    in some scenarios, some advantage give "performance" governor, but it's hot by 1-2 degree in idle.

    P.S. Balbes150, what soft do you use to capture video from tvbox?

    Image update CPU_OVER (fixed armbianmonitor at S912).

    Specially made a video of how to change frequencies for different load s905x and s912.
    Note that in s912 (Vega S96) is used dtb from the regular firmware, and s905x (i7Pro) is used dtb from the image (gxl_p212_2G).

    @balbes150 and @chocho

    I learnt how to extract the dtb and dts file from Beelink Android images. I will be documenting it here to help other users, but it is the exactly process @chocho already did.

    1) update your GT1 device with GT1_104M0.img or GT1_104M0_AP6255.img

    2) power-up, boot GT1;

    3) copy boot.img from running Android image
    adb pull /dev/block/boot boot.img 4) download split_bootimg.pl tool and run it over boot.img
    wget -c http://www.enck.org/tools/split_bootimg_pl.txt -O split_bootimg.pl chmod a+x split_bootimg.pl split_bootimg.pl boot.img Result:

    The trial version of images, "3.14.29_CPU_OVER" (The TEST directory). Changed the range of available CPU frequencies 0-2000. Please check these images on the S905 S905X and S912 with the necessary control over the temperature and frequency of the processor (run in terminal as user "root" command "armbianmonitor -m"). According to my subjective feelings playing a test video even at full resolution works better than a range 500-1536. The overall temperature , it seemed to me , was below.
