  1. That is not an easy task. You cannot compare x86 architecture with arm. However there are already approaches to do something like this. Take a look here: https://forum.armbian.com/forum/24-tv-boxes/ Note the topics Single Armbian image for...

  3. Since I am not absolutely sure about the next step has anybody a good reason why not to merge A64/H5 and H6 forums together? If not I'll do that in about 24h from now.
  4. Did you try using a different access point and connect both the board and the printer as normal clients? Since this is most likely a userspace issue moved to p2p help.
  5. I'd suggest to grab the dtb, the headers and the image. Maybe U-Boot too. Then simply install all of them via dpkg -i *.deb and reboot.
  6. Since CI is not working I had to build it myself anyways to test it. Feel free to grab the debs. They include the mentioned patch and are on 5.8.5 https://werner.armbian.de/_extra/zeropi/
  7. Marking as solved is now possible via drop down menu.
  8. My bad. I did not even check out the link due to lack of time. Anyway I'll take care for it. https://github.com/armbian/build/pull/2178 Will merge if checks are successful. If somebody requesting for help and also helping by him/herself to solve this issue by doing own research we are WAY more motivated to get to a solution . Unfortunately this is not very often the case...
  9. Nope. But 5.8.5 should not be a big deal. sunxi-current is already on this particular version and it is planned to bump the current Armbian release to 20.08.1 this weekend. If you are impatient however you can grab dtb, header and kernel image for sunxi from my server (https://werner.armbian.de/_2020/Aug31/) or via nightly builds (beta.armbian.com) and simply install those packages by using dpkg -i.
  10. The easiest way would be to get another sd card, burn a fresh image on it and start over. This way you wont loose anything since you keep the existing sd card and take a look whenever needed.
  11. Um, just follow the mentioned guide again at the poing when you started messing with the ssd?
  12. This is a tag, not a prefix. I did not remove any existing tags. They just can no longer attached to existing or new topics.
  13. Well then...no clue... This would only make sense of the board itself was altered but since it has even the same revision, don't know.
  14. Due to lack of ressources we don't have much of a chance to test many possible scenarios when updating (but you could help doing that https://forum.armbian.com/subscriptions/ ) As for myself I never had an sd card failing on me but maybe you had some application that for example did lot of log writing or similar bypassing ramlog? That would shorten their lifetime significantly. Not sure about that but I do not think that this is easily possible....
  15. Easy answer: There is none It's just a tool for lazy people and newbies to make things a bit easier. But if you are familiar with apt and installing 3rd party software via scripts and stuff go ahead and skil the config tool.
  16. Do you have eMMC module or similar? on this board? Because Armbian current is using 2020.04 U-Boot at the moment...
  17. So strip it down to "solved" prefix only. Will do that. - Done
  18. I serioulsy don't wanted to imply you are lying. Heaven forbid! For the issue itself I unfortunately cannot answer your question since I don't know how and why this happens. However Igor is right anyways. it is a board that is not supported since it is custom made so it is correct to move the topic to general discussion / p2p help.
  19. Are we talking about the same thing? @Igor@lanefu would be nice to get your opinion (or simply yes or no) to this so I can push this further!
  20. If that would be true it would boot just fine and I have several OrangePi One SBCs laying around at my space
  21. To get more into detail please have a look at our documentation to avoid common mistakes. https://docs.armbian.com/
  22. A bit late for announcement in forums but whatever, here it is
