juan 0 Posted December 10, 2019 Share Posted December 10, 2019 Hi guys a having problems to boot the latest armbian buster 5.3.Y kernel on the orange pi win plus. I tested other older kernels(4.19 and 3.xx) and worked fine except for Bluetooth and WiFi hotspot. I am trying to upgrade to buster 5.3 but always as result kernel panic(same on bionic and stretch 5.3). power supply is ok and tested on 3 microsd card. this is the debug information from an ttyS0 consoles it is continues rebooting. need some help debug.txt 0 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

t-bob 2 Posted December 11, 2019 Share Posted December 11, 2019 Best of luck with this one as I've never had any success with a 5.x dev image. If you install a 4.x image then use armbian-config to switch to the nightly stream you can get a 5.x kernel booting. 0 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
juan 0 Posted December 16, 2019 Author Share Posted December 16, 2019 thanks t-bob , i changed to other kernels in armbian-config and choose 5.4.2-sunxi64 #19.11.3.349 now i have buster with kernel 5.4.2. hope apt update ,apt upgrade wont mess it up. 0 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
