justin.wills Posted January 25, 2020 Posted January 25, 2020 anyone running a neo+ 2. don't bother with neo2 image, it doesn't recognise emmc or wifi card the nanopi K1plus image works beautifully and supports both emmc and wifi module
justin.wills Posted January 25, 2020 Author Posted January 25, 2020 although, now as I run a backup and check cpu temp/freq, it seems that frequency is not available under /sys
justin.wills Posted January 26, 2020 Author Posted January 26, 2020 I found the board config for nanopineoplus2 in config and built an image. everything works as expected
5kft Posted January 26, 2020 Posted January 26, 2020 Yes, you need to use the ...plus2 config for the NEO Plus2. This board is quite different from the NEO2...
spikerguy Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 May I know who is maintaining support for Neo Plus2 ? I see it is under No Official Support (CSC) but I see Buster Server Supported is Ticked. I am not sure what that means AFAIK "No Official Support" means there is some community support available so maybe I can collaborate with the person supporting it. I have recently ordered it and plan to build my own kernel from the source. Can help in testing and maintaining the board support as long as it is alive Thanks.

If you look at Armbian build scripts, since NanoPiNeoPlus2 is an Allwinner H5 SoC, it is usual megous's github here : Current : https://github.com/megous/linux/tree/orange-pi-5.4 Dev : https://github.com/megous/linux/tree/orange-pi-5.6 1
