Kriston
Does "orangepi3" also support Orange Pi 3 LTS? The board looks different from the Orange Pi 3 on the download page and has a different number of USB ports.
Werner
Yes besides PHY. Chip is different. No drivers in mainline available yet. WIP

Werner
Yes and no. Other RK based boards have been re-released as well with Motorola PHY due to chip shortage. So this driver needs to be implemented in various families.

If I am interpreting above correctly, it sounds like there have been some hardware changes and those will need to be implemented. So until that gets done some things might not work.

I will be having a build and play shortly
Ukhellfire
@Igor question for you if you don't mind answering or pointing me in the direction of I fo with the answer? When building armbian, the patches. All the patches in the patch folder, do they all get applied? Or are the patches called by the specific board in a config somewhere? the link you posted above for the r1+. He adds patches for certain things, but nothing calls them. Is it just a case of adding a patch if something never before seen in armbian is needed?

No idea what you are talking about. You are aware that this is Armbian forums that handles topics around Armbian, right?
