Hello ,

i have used now for some year armbian for this board,

very many thanks for that;

lately have updated to newer version Debian Trxiie

and found that "htop" report a higher CPU usage after freshboot (around 50%) whereas previously it sat a 10% probably;

now when evoking htop it gives (CPU offline for core 2-3-4)

also nproc report "1" instead of "4"=?

not sure if this an error ;

noticed a similar report of nproc also with a build of volumio;

thank you very much;

Hello,

I am experiencing  the same issue: CPU1-3 are offline, and they can't be activated by

echo 1 >  /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/online

or similar commands, the system is responding with "invalid argument" error.

I did not notice this nuisance until last week. I would like not having to reinstall the hole system, because it is running my Nextcloud and some other home services. Is there any way to install a kernel that uses all 4 CPU, without having to reinstall the hole system?

Will it work, if I just copy /boot from one of the older images onto the sdcard in use?

Of course. Kernel upgrade is handled via standard apt get update and upgrade. If you need to change to specific kernel, use https://docs.armbian.com/User-Guide_Armbian-Config/System/#alternative-kernels

Make sure to update all packages before going that route,

IIRC this problem is related to u-boot. Which is updated after all packages are up2date with armbian-install utility,
