Search Option for Download Page

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm missing a feature on the armbian download page, that I think was existing on an older version of this website.

Let's say: I'm looking for a board, that is:

- Supported

- Has a SATA Connector

- Supports Wireguard

- Supports Docker

How can I do that? Despite of browsing through every board.

Thanks for your feedback.

Regards

Nope. We planned to provide this with a new website. Data is stored but displaying / searching is not working properly ... We don't have people in-house so I have no idea why its not working.

is there a way to combine the searches from the following urls to give him a chance for the result he want?

https://www.armbian.com/download/?device_support=Supported
https://www.armbian.com/download/?specifications=docker
https://www.armbian.com/download/?specifications=wireguard
https://www.armbian.com/download/?specifications=sata

on some other webpages I did see such options combined by a &

PS: The sata search URL does show SBCs, that didnt have sata :(

Website section has been outsourced. All I know is that we use https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/ + https://www.contentviewspro.com/ and one of them or our implementation is making troubles. With another words - several hundreds or thousands of euros has to be thrown at the website this year

Armbian does not sell any boards

Armbian does not keep a reliable list of board features

as @tkaiser repeated, a good USB3 outperforms most if not all SATA implemenations.

However, @guidol showed you a nice way to look for SATA.

there is no value for armbian to maintain such a HW list. Your other options are SW and so your mileage may vary.

@Igor Understood, thanks for your answer … it seems to be complicated. Another idea in my head … Is there a csv file somewhere that contains which board has which feature?

@Tido Thanks for your input … I'll consider that if I'm going to buy a new board

@guidol Thanks for the links … and pointing out that sata search won't work for it
