Network is configured to connect to network automatically. If a DHCP server is running on it. More Wifi dongles are supported in modern kernel images - use that and documentation.

unfortunately, it didn't work I applied the first step,

It seems that you are using a WiFi USB dongle that is not supported, otherwise it would appeared !

Use some RTL8188 or MT7601 dongles, it should work fine ...

Yes, but only if

- your board is this https://www.armbian.com/orange-pi-one/

- you are using Armbian Buster/Bionic with kernel 4.19.y (first two options)

- your power supply is good

- your board hardware is fully functional

If you are using this board https://www.armbian.com/orange-pi-one-plus/ I am not sure, board is officially not supported yet since we are still in fixing bugs mode ... and perhaps those wireless cards are not enabled by some coincidence yet.

Then I don't know and I have to test on the device since you didn't provide logs. Perhaps next week, perhaps later ... perhaps someone else will step up and report.

Check this in the mean time:

i do not understand what you mean

Troubleshooting ...

First, do you see your WiFi USB dongle while doing a "lsusb" ?

Second, check "dmesg | grep mt7601", do you see something like this ? :

[ 8.099286] mt7601u 3-1:1.0: ASIC revision: 76010001 MAC revision: 76010500
[ 8.147058] mt7601u 3-1:1.0: EEPROM ver:0d fae:00
[ 8.389047] usbcore: registered new interface driver mt7601u
[ 8.414287] mt7601u 3-1:1.0 wlx0022c0111000: renamed from wlan0

mmmm ...

I think you should try again with a different WiFi dongle, this one looks defective ...

when I tried this dongle with windows its works  correctly but I don't know why it's not work here.

windows has it own driver, but maybe this chipset isnt common on linux or this armbian-image?

It looks like that your WiFi-Dongle respond properly on the OPi One - so it looks like a bad device or to less power on the usb-port.

You could try to configure it with nmtui

check there if it will find any wifi in range.

Have you tried plugging anything else into the usb port? Did it work? Like a usb flash, another wifi dongle or usb-hdd?

yes, like a mouse, keyboard it works,

by the way when I use lsusb the wifi dongle show up but it didn't show the available network .

I'm using MT7601 on my OPiOnePlus, and the "dmesg" I've provided above is using kernel 5.3.1 doesn't shows any error.
