Is the analog Audio on the Orange pi zero plus2 H5 not the same as on the Orange Pi Zero Plus(without2) H5? On my Orange Pi Zero Plus(without2) H5 I got also: root@opi-zeroplus:~# aplay -l **** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices **** card 0: Codec [H3 Audio Codec], device 0: CDC PCM Codec-0 [] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 My /etc/asound.conf is: pcm.!default { type hw card 0 device 0 } ctl.!default { type hw card 0 } I activated the analog audio (named analog-codec) in armbian-config --> system --> hardware and save/reboot to activate. (has to be done, because normally there is no audio port...only after adding the additionall USB/Audio/Video-Dock) After installing espeak (apt install espeak) I could let the H5 talk via: espeak -w /tmp/espeak.wav -s150 "Hello how are you today?"; aplay -D plughw:0,0 /tmp/espeak.wav 2>/dev/null So analog sound should work with the H3 Audio Codec on a H5 device HDMI couldnt be checked by me, because my Orange Pi Zero Plus(without2) H5 hasnt HDMI-Audio/Video
