    Fair enough. I know the branch conversation has happened more than once on the forum, and generally the added complexity hasnt been appealing. I suppose viewing armbian as a rolling release and embracing next as "mainline stable" supports the model?

    This looks like a problem with your terminal emulator.. lxterm.... see if you have options for the terminal type and make it not vt102...... or maybe find a better terminal emulator.

    how are you executing build with sudo or running as root? can you show results of echo $TERM and for grins try export TERM=xterm and see if that just fixes it

    Is it for long term storage, or just for exchanging data.... I could setup some object storage.. i think there's even an official SFTP gateway fro s3 now.

    Oh... i just kinda think he helios4 is the board that achieved what I thought the espressobin was going to do.

    Sweet.. I installed Blender on my frankendell and doing a 4k on terracota... Sadly CPU rendering is faster i was hoping my Quadra K620 would make things interested.... but i think its not in an optimal PCI slot anyway.. oh well.

    @martinayotte Have you started pushing the 5.x stuff up to master yet or would you be willing to work out of a branch from sunxi kernel 5 until its stable? Might make it easier to divide and conquer on the different surprises

    Continuity is a fantastic justification. One ask.. come up with easy to understand paragraph to explain the difference that we can add to the board download page, etc
