Yeah. The bycicle is still the most efficient vehicle mankind ever evented. But it uses our own our own energy for it. But a lot more efficient than running. Not for lazy people.
It's very dangerous since not much good bikeroads in the world.
Ain't nothing perfect. You've just got to make out what you can pack in your bag of guilt Some don't care and ride big pick ups with a chimney for exhaust.
Some want to feel better and buy and electric vehicle. But then plug them into mains. When producing your own energy then it's a lot better.
Energy is everywhere, but we just need to learn how to get it at the places where it's needed. Enough place in the sahara for solar plants, but no people there who ned it. A lot of energy in oceans. Again not where people live(yet).

All the pieces ar available to make great improvements. But whose going to put them together? I don't think Elon Musk. He's just a salesman.

Kernel N2 for Armbian is the result of joint work BayLibre and developer community Libreelec (we work together closely). It takes time for everything to look finished. Only then will the publication.

Sound through HDMI and the rest is there , but it is WIP and not yet for public use.

I've finished all of them. All 4k except the transport one. That would take too long since there are many light sources and bounces.(+10hours) And even then the quality would be less since I've got to lower some things.
And the N2 isn't super stable either.
They are all converted to jpg because the original png's are together 560MB.

My favorite is the under construction one But you can't use that for supported

@lanefu If you need anything more, let me know. I hope people are going to like them, I've already seem them too much. 

Now I can start putting my render farm together to make new animations for my channel.

The memory controller for the h6 is 32 bits, 4gb may be there but only 3 will ever be usable. Which is why they are being sold as 2gb/3gb options.

You can use the Media Scipt from JMCC for imporvements in video playback, and making opengl possible.
Please read the radme file for more info.

Its the PCIe Express NVMe Card.
 
I remove it and the desktop seems not to hang .... I add it back in .... and the desktop hangs.
 
I wonder if this has something to do with power spikes when there is graphics activity the errors in the dmesg indicate that
vpcie1v8 = 5.1v rail   Shared with GPU
vpcie0v9 = 3v Rail 
 
Both of these rails hang off the same core buck converter SY8113B, the other SY8113B manages the USB peripherals seperatly.
 
@AndrewDB    .... looks like you may be correct it was power all along  but it looks like its a kernel issue with the PCIe Power Management ?

Yes. I've got a big heatsink on the way for my Rock Pi4B. That one has 4GB ram vs 2GB of my M4. So with that I can do 4K or higher renders during a week/month of all of them.
I've added all the original .png renders + all the blender files as attachment file. Everyone can do a higher resolution render (8K, 16K, 32K???) if they want. Or play with it a bit.

@NicoD @johanvdw Actually with some of the out of tree patches is possible to make it work. After all, I have fully functional LibreELEC image for PineH64. Well, not completely everything, but HDMI audio works pretty well. Patches are here and here. Btw, dma patches are important for audio and you have to enable sun4i-i2s driver and simple audio card if it's not yet.

Now one more for EOL? A gravestone with one of the background images as picture, a big RIp and some text to explain it's eol.
I can do that tomorrow. Let me know what text would fit to not enrage the user because it's eol.

I can't do dark and grey. Blender is a program of light. Darkness is very difficult.

Mega is blocked here in Belgium, so I can't download it(without a lot of hassle)
Strange that ttl has 6 pins. I don't understand how that works, USB only has 4 pins. (no idea what cts or dtr is)
It should just work, I don't think those extra pins change anything.

Any news on the use of the backgrounds?
