It didn't help me with ethernet, but also I lose my HDMI-output Maybe this problem also was caused by upgrading packages, but I newbie to ambian, so I don't know which algoritm to deal with those problems. HDMI and sound works from start. I´m struggling to configure network connection, would something similar to rk3318-config be possible/useful? I will try to use a wifi-dongle as suggested before. I updated the system and is working nicely with ssh and vnc access. I have LifeCam and Tandberg precisionHD webcams working with webcamoid after compiling @balbes150 GitHub build. I only had to change CONFIG_USB_VIDEO_CLASS is not set to =y in file build/config/kernel/linux-rk3188-current.config I would never had expected this some months ago. I downloaded Armbian_21.05.0-trunk_Rk3188_focal_current_5.10.27_xfce_desktop.img.xz Flashed successfully with USBimager No boot. It seems possible from very old threads I may need to flash a stock rom or possibly use a loader/toolkit but I'm not seeing this info on current threads. I found the source of the issue - it's invalid clocks of hclk_emac (and mac_src with sclk_macref). But it may be fixed on the existing image/environment - you just should update and recompile DTc.
