TRS-80 Posted February 14, 2020 Posted February 14, 2020 Yes depends on model. May need some firmware, especially if you are on Debian (which may in turn be located in non-free repository, which is not enabled by default, at least in Debian).
Federico Damonte Posted February 14, 2020 Author Posted February 14, 2020 hi, the model id is: 2357:0109 TP-Link TL WN823N RTL819EU
TRS-80 Posted February 14, 2020 Posted February 14, 2020 Well, if you can't be bothered to do https://lmsptfy.com/?q=RTL819EU debian than I doubt you will be able to follow (for example) instructions here. Therefore, my recommendation is to probably look for some different hardware.
Igor Posted February 16, 2020 Posted February 16, 2020 It is possible that we need to enable this:https://github.com/armbian/build/blob/master/config/kernel/linux-sunxi-current.config#L2560 https://linux-hardware.org/index.php?id=usb:2357-0109
Werner Posted February 17, 2020 Posted February 17, 2020 Maybe. Lets find out. https://github.com/armbian/build/pull/1804
