  1. So since the release is out we should catch up here. Open topics are what I found so far: - Merge common issues and peer to peer technical support - Merge H5/A64 and H6 to complete sunxi64 family (?) - creating / updating tags? Per each forum. Done for bugtracker. Other forums need individual attention - ping moderators, remove unresponsive ones?
  2. Sure that would be nice. But stuff is changing frequently and there are simply not enough ressources to keep track and test each and every feature of each and every board over and over....
  3. No worries 30685 BOARD=z28pro 30686 BOARD_NAME="Z28 PRO" 30687 BOARDFAMILY=rockchip64 30688 BUILD_REPOSITORY_URL=https://github.com/armbian/build 30689 BUILD_REPOSITORY_COMMIT=31b56af4-dirty 30690 VERSION=5.90 Anyway, this is quite some output, will take a bit more to dig through... Edit: At line 12625 this Z28 thing occuring the first time. Edit2: Any chance that you could dig your dpkg.log for stuff that happened before Sat 15 Aug 2020 07:49:32 PM CEST?
  4. It has not been announed, more a best guess since the past showed that every fifth new version became LTS. (5.9) 5.4 4.19 4.14 4.9 4.4 ....
  5. Since 5.9 is ahead I'd suggest to focus on that since this will become next LTS kernel.
  6. armbianmonitor -u You can also try the following: increase boot verbosity (see documentation) and connect a serial console. Open it and log its output. Maybe leave it over night if needed. Also try messing with the bluetooth while serial console is connected and collect any output it may throw when crashing.
  7. Log might be incomplete. Please increase the buffer sice of your terminal application and retry. You could also redirect the output into a file.
  8. Non-LTS Ubuntu releases wont be added unless by community contribution and even then they will not receive any support. Disco/Eoan were community contributions too.
  9. It is not possible to create armhf images for arm64 boards.
  10. I'm curios how well the video engine works on this board with the available kernels. Any chance somebody setup a jellyfin and do some tests with hardware transcoding if available?
  11. This is an external driver catched from here: https://github.com/brektrou/rtl8821CU Maybe some change there broke compilation for 4.9...
  12. Maybe. For now it might be the best to move this to Feature Requests
  13. There aren't many people that do gaming on these devices so hard to tell. Maybe there is a slight chance that @NicoD has some experience with joysticks on arm.
  14. The current torrent size is 283,x GB atm for those who are interested: https://werner.armbian.de/_offtopic/torrent_statistics.txt
  15. Well just for the heck of it you could build a new image with sunxi-legacy and joystick support, test it and then grab a normal Ubuntu 20.04 for your PC which comes with kernel 5.4.x too and do a small comparison. I don't there is any difference from the kernel point of view. Though it might be possible that x86 Ubuntu Desktop ships some additional software tools with to make these toys properly work. But there is only one way to find out....
  16. Maybe the mirror you were randomly assigned is not fully synced yet. Retry a bit later. Or grab manually: https://us.mirrors.fossho.st/armbian/apt/pool/main/l/linux-5.7.15-rockchip64/
  17. Not sure if this is anything that Armbian can fix or help with. Anyway I'll put a PR to add joystick support to sunxi-current since it is present in other board families too.
  18. Aight, will do. I'll edit here once its finished. https://werner.armbian.de/_extra/Armbian_20.08.0-trunk_Bananapi_focal_current_5.7.16.img.xz
  19. This does not look much like Armbian... Did you properly clear your sd card before flashing Armbian on it? Since OrangePi images come with two partitions and Armbian with only one. Better erase the partition table of your sd card before trying to flash anything on it.
  20. I do not have this board so I cannot test that. I create a new image with generic joystick support and added all available models as modules. Let me know if it works. https://werner.armbian.de/_extra/Armbian_20.08.0-trunk_Orangepipc_focal_current_5.7.16.img.gz
  21. Did a quick check. xpad module seems to be missing in sunxi kernel configs while it is present in rk* und some other. I'll look into
